In this 15-week intermediate fashion class, returning students will be using a selection of printed sewing patterns. Students will shop for their own fabrics on a meetup to Joann Fabrics. Some sewing patterns will be provided. 
 
Students will meet for three hours every week and create garments and accessories from scratch. They will build on their existing sewing skills and techniques as they use both a  sewing machine and serger.  

COURSE INCLUDES:
Comprehensive curriculum binder
A sewing tote bag (to be sewn in class)
Selected sewing supplies 
Some Sewing Pattern(s)
The use of a sewing machine
A light snack and water are included.
Students will learn to sew on a sewing machine, overlock machine, and may include some hand sewing.
 
PREREQUISITE:
This class is for returning Fashionistas or students who have completed a previous course with Sew Gussied Up.  
Parents must sign the online waiver form prior to a child arriving to class.

MAKE-UP POLICY:
Make-up classes will be available on an as-needed basis and will be be scheduled accordingly.  Please feel free to call with any questions:  714-623-3897.
 
COURSE POLICIES:
This course may be cancelled if the minimum of 3 students is not reached.
Open to children ages 7 to 13 years old and to both boys and girls. 
Students must wear closed-toe shoes at all times during class.
This is a drop-off class and only enrolled students will be permitted.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Fees are not refundable or transferrable for cancellations or no-shows.
For students on a payment plan, payments will not be canceled or refunded if a student is unable to complete the course.
